This class is about rediscovering confidence and joy in the kitchen when cooking gluten-free. You’ll come away reminded of how much is possible and how delicious gluten-free food can be when it’s made with care, ease, and a bit of playfulness.
The focus is on relaxed, hands-on baking that builds confidence and shows how bakes can be enjoyed by everyone around the table, not just those avoiding gluten. This is food to share, food to be proud of, and food that doesn’t feel like a compromise.
The kitchen for this class will be completely wheat-free, with no wheat ingredients used throughout the session.During the workshop, we’ll cover a wide range of bakes, including:
Pane al Pomodoro – a wow-worthy, quick and easy loaf with mouthwatering balanced flavours
Gluten-free scones – mastering GF sweet scones, with guidance on how to adapt the recipe for savoury versions too
Gluten-free pastry – learning how to work with it confidently for both sweet and savoury bakes
1 × sweet tart
1 × savoury tart
Almondi biscuits – rich, delicious biscuits made with nut flour
As always, we’ll sit down together at the end of the class to enjoy some of what we’ve made, and you’ll be taking plenty home with you too.
Be sure to bring some tubs to take it all home!
